By serving as spiritual directors for priests, directing priests’ retreats, facilitating convocations, and giving workshops for priests, the Sulpicians continue to carry out the important work of encouraging, supporting and reinvigorating established priests to enable them to best carry out their respective ministries.

As part of a more strategic approach to continuing formation, in the late 1990s the Society of St. Sulpice, U.S. Province, assisted St. Mary’s Seminary and University in constructing, staffing, and developing a new Center for Continuing Formation.
Since then, the Center has become a premier destination for the ongoing support, formation, and education of those in all stages of their priestly ministries.
